I write long-form essays on business, decision-making, and organisations. Most of it comes from things I have actually done, broken, and repaired — not frameworks read from books.

This site carries no advertising and no subscription wall, and it does not chase news. It updates when I have genuinely worked something out, not when the calendar says so.

About this site

The layout draws on eighteenth-century printing. Benjamin Franklin was a printer by trade — he set type by hand, ran a newspaper, and published an almanack. So the reference here is a well-set page, not decoration. Structure comes from rules and whitespace alone: no cards, no shadows.

The reading comfort comes from Japanese book typography: generous leading, a controlled measure, a quarter-em space at every CJK–Latin boundary, and emphasis marked with dots rather than bold. These are measurable reading conditions, not style preferences.
